Bill Malaier is a principal of the creditor-debtor firm Nagler & Malaier, P.S. His practice includes aiding debtors with all aspects of Chapter 7, 11 and Chapter 13 bankruptcy filings, representing individual creditors, and helping clients with out-of-court financial work-outs.
Bill assists the Seattle University School of Law’s Bankruptcy Clinic, mentoring law students interested in the field of insolvency, and was recently elected by his peers to the executive board of the Bankruptcy Section of the King County Bar Association. Bill is a regular presenter at CLE seminars and recently co-edited the bankruptcy chapter of the Washington State Bar Association’s Family Law Deskbook.
He is a graduate, summa cum laude, of Providence College and received his J.D. from the University of Arizona in 2003. He has also been selected by Washington Law and Politics magazine for inclusion on its annual Washington Rising Stars list. Prior to entering the field of creditor-debtor law, Bill litigated criminal defense and family law matters.
